Early last year, the Chicago Park District began a tree project involving many parks. Some parks have had them removed for prairie restoration, but many more are being cut down due to the Emerald Ash Borer beetle & it's possible this infestation has spread. Some trees have been spared removal & have instead been turned into works of art. Harrison has one such tree that has had spirals carved into it. Here is a link to the artist working on that tree. However, it's possible that tree has succumbed to the beetle & has now been removed as well. http://www.chicagotreeproject.org/anne-alexander/
Probably on the grass side of the park. Not 100% sure though.
Honestly, I haven't seen any but there are plenty of fence's. You can lock them up on.
On 18th, 19th and Damen all around Harrison Park
No
I think last night was the last night......?????
Not sure...you might wanna call and ask. I've never seen signs saying its not allowed. The only people i've seen grilling are eloteros (grilled corn) and people selling burgers sometimes for kids' football/baseball games.
Workshops for growing vegetables on the farm. They are for free.
This park is free
