We had two emergencies while on vacation, a UTI and a really bad splinter. The doctor and nurses were phenomenal. We were taken back almost immediately and they were able to resolve our issues quickly. They were all very kind and competent.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I called prior to leaving my house asking if I needed an appointment to get my children COVID tested. The woman on the line said no, you just need to call us from the parking lot to register when you're here. I asked what time they closed. She said 8:00. I loaded a 3 year old, 1 year old and newborn into my car and drove an hour to get to them. I called from the parking lot as instructed. The same woman answered. She said, "Oh we are no longer taking patients for the evening." Frustrated, I asked why. She responded, "We're at our max." I explained to her my situation and how far I had driven and that I had called previously to make sure they could be seen. She replied, "Nope sorry, we can't see them." Her tone was condescending and unhelpful. She offered no further explanation, or "hey were really slow at this time during the day, come back tomorrow." Nothing. Terrible customer service. I understand times are trying. I understand that they were probably busy and overworked. BUT as a nursing student/LNA myself I am sick of healthcare workers using COVID as an excuse to treat people poorly. It is unacceptable. If you are telling someone bad news, adjust your manner accordingly. Have some compassion. We are all in this sinking boat together.

I visited MedCheck Urgent Care twice recently for a sinus infection. The nurses were wonderful and made me feel comfortable during my visit. The physician assistant, Lauren, was compassionate and knowledgeable. I really appreciated her kindness during both visits. I was in and out in less than half an hour both times. I am so grateful that we have this urgent care facility in our community. Five stars, thank you.
