My husband was seeing a dr there. I asked on the 11th off Feb while in their office can i get established with them. The front desk said will let the coordinator know, never heard back. Just called them 9Mar advising then I’ve been having issues and need to see a dr. Was told due to the fact my dr didn’t refer them i can’t see anyone there. Even though my dr requested a STAT ct scan today which i can’t get till Thu thru desert advanced imaging Now not sure i want them as my dr offc. Drs May be good but the office policy suck

Dr Block is a brilliant doctor. We had the pleasure of his treating my husband for hemochromatosis when he was located in Pittsburgh. Dr. Block is very knowledgeable, and we highly recommend him.

His office sat on a referral for over 1 month. When I called to schedule my 1st appointment I was told the doctor "didn't want to see me" with absolutely NO bedside manners - not even the normal "not accepting new patients" line. WOW, well if thats how your staff treats its patients then thank you.

I heard about you I hemmcromatas I was diagnosed last year I'm 60 years old female I have beginning stage 4 Cirrhosis of the liver 60% of my liver is stained they say there's nothing they can do I heard you're working On it Literature on it.

It is absolutely NOT correct that 'nothing can be done'. Rapid deironing through several techniques readily available can stop progression of the liver injury. The cirrhosis can (but not always) regress, and hepatic function can improve back to normal. There is an increased risk of primary liver cancers that needs to be proactively monitored and when treated early, has good outcomes. Liver transplant is an option for persons with liver failure due to hemochromatosis, but post-transplant care is significantly better if deironing occurs before transplant.
