The most amazing hospitality I’ve ever received at a hotel! :) From valet to check in and everything in between, the staff here is so friendly and helpful. Yes, it is an older hotel and under construction but the renovations they have done so far are fabulous and you can tell there is a lot of care put into the details. Very close walk to both Printer’s Alley and Broadway. I will absolutely be returning next time I’m in Nashville. Thanks!

On May 12, 2022 We were greeted abruptly by an employee after our late arrival (due to late flight). It was apparent that she was waiting for us. She let us know that we were given the last possible room available. I thought that was odd, considering we booked it months earlier. She then proceeded to tell us if we couldn’t handle the room due to the elevator we could get another room the next day. The stay was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. We did not get any amount of sleep due to the loud crashes we heard- every minute- ALL.NIGHT.LONG. My husband being an elevator guy- tracked down the elevator company that was there at the building. The consensus is that the elevator is NOT in good repair- and there were no immediate plans to get it fixed, not only causing a danger to anyone who uses, but I couldn’t imagine if a child used the elevator and put their hand through the door as it was running. A sign on the elevator limiting to 3 people screams scary. Riding it and seeing the open space between the door and wall AS you’re riding it screams extreme danger. If anyone actually cared. I wish you much luck on fixing that immediately. In the morning I went down to discuss the room events with the employee at the front desk. He knew exactly which room we were in- without even telling him. He did not offer another room. Only offered your email address (which didn’t work, so I’m contacting through Expedia now) and then guaranteed that we would be refunded by contacting you. We ended up having to find another hotel. This was not in our vacation budget and put a strain on the rest of our vacation. This is extremely disheartening as we normally love Nashville. $1,300 for only getting to stay one terribly awful night? This is my first attempt to rectify this problem. I do not believe we should be charged and do expect a full refund. Please let me know if it is a problem to get that refund. At this point we will still continue to come to Nashville, but we know where to steer clear from- Capital Hotel Downtown.

My friends and I visited Nashville for the first time and enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself is kind of outdated and lacks many amenities. It didn’t feel that safe because anyone could walk inside and use the elevator. Also, our shower didn’t drain properly. The location is very convenient, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent location away from all of the noisy areas downtown, but still within walking distance of everything. Service was very friendly and provided a full hot breakfast. Only downside is the bed could have been more comfortable. Overall a great option for those who want to stay downtown and not break the bank.

Not a personal balcony. Just an outdoor walkway.
Cant understand
I would think so
I believe at a cost, we we're only in for a few days but the place was great, nice bar, and walking from "the strip" nice and quiet
Just called to ask. They DO NOT allow pets
Between 25 dollars to 50 dollars!!
20 min drive to the Airport. At 7th and Union 3 blocks up from Broadway easy walk
No and its not worth the hefty price they charge. For the same price you could go to the hilton. Rooms are outside and the building looks rundown. Extremely small elevator that takes forever.
Jayme Collins what hotel would you recommend? We've found The Capitol is the cheapest and most convenient Hotel downtown.
Walk anywhere you need to from this nice, boutique-like hotel.
