Unbelievably amazing!! We went in July for my little dude’s birthday, and it was so fun! Everyone was very nice, and knowledgeable. Great experience all around, & highly recommended!!

What fun I had! I got so many stones. I had one of those into a cut stone for a jewelry. They were all kind and spend a lot of time explaining those stones I found. $100 bucket is the way to go. Thank you!

Great for kids! The staff is a joy and truly appear to enjoy what they do. Large selection of some great rocks. Nice spot to catch some of the nearby waterfalls as well!

We had a great time panning for gems (the larger buckets have bigger gems), talking to the staff (who told us all about the gems we found), shopping for gifts, and eating the best boiled peanuts.

Hey! We do not have a working mine that is open to the public. We have three different bucket sizes-- $10 SMALL bucket, $30 or 2 for $50 ULTIMATE bucket, and a $100 BUCKET CLUB. Re:bartering, you would have to call and talk to the owner Jane. The name "Trading Post" comes from the original owner Mr. Jackson, when it was "Jackson's Hole and Trading Post." The way it stands, the name is analogous with a general store.
