I used to avoid this place because it was crowed and the salesmen were jerks. A few weeks ago I purchase a pistol site from them. I had an issue with it and they worked to make it right. The mgr proposed a solution that got me a site that works perfect for my needs and restored my opinion of their establishment. They may not be my number 1 local gun store, but they are in the top 3 now.

I spent 3 months going in here to decide what my first gun would be, and they were very nice and helpful, and sent me to a ladies night gun range where I could try out the guns for free. Once I decided, the shop didn't have it in stock but ordered it for me and it came in sooner than predicted. I might have felt intimidated walking into a gun shop like this but the staff helped me every step of the way, showing me how to hold a gun, how to aim it, what to look for in functionality, and ensuring I'd be pleased with the purchase, making me feel like I belonged there every bit as much as all the men w/ their serious artillery. So happy to support local family owned biz. I think the negative reviews must be more of a referendum on overly needy customers than the shop as they were exceedingly patient and pleasant with me over multiple visits.
