Such a great small zoo. Fun to visit and see animals up really close. You'll be only feet away from tigers and red pandas among many others.

Sad sad zoo. Tiger is in a tiny cage. Took about 7 minutes to circle around the whole zoo, so small. Very messy. Staff isnt friendly. Wouldn't recommend anyone paying to see the sad animals. Wish they'd give them to a place that actually will care and love them.

This is OUR zoo. Support it and love it. Pona(RIP), the Fossa, was I believe the first in captivity in North America (long before the Madagascar movies) now Jamba is in his place also not many zoos have Red Pandas and they are IRRESPONSIBLY cute. Go, go today, go often, and support our zoo! Plus they are making all kinds of improvements (as of the date of this posting).

Was pleasantly surprised with the amount of animals.

They have areas to meet people and BBQ and picnic at the park, next to the zoo. I am not sure if that is what you were asking.

This is a small scale zoo and takes about 45 minutes to an hour to go through. You can easily keep your eyes on your child here. There is also a fantastic park next to it. Animals; a tiger, various birds, various reptiles, kangaroos, anteater, porcupines, etc.
They accept credit and debit. If you LA zoo membership I think your entry is free

From their website: Adults 12 & over $7.00 Children 3 to 11 $5.00 Seniors 65+ $6.00 Children 2 years and under — FREE
They don't even have baby tigers do some simple research there isn't a single zoo that would even let you touch them
