I have been a member for a little while now. It's a good range to go to to work on your marksmanship. It's quiet, clean, and private. Follow the simple rules and you'll be fine. Depending on how much you shoot, the annual membership is cheap and has no daily cost to shoot. I would have given it 5 stars if they had steel targets for the rifle and pistol ranges. But, there is always room for improvement. The board members are nice as well as the shooters that I have run into.

Santa Lucia Sportsmen's Association is a great place to sight in your rifles, pistols, chrono, etc. Annual Range fees are $135 from January 1st - December 31, with no daily range fees. Pros - great for locals within close proximity to home, annual range fee is inexpensive, hours are great 0900 - Sunset. - a great place to sight in your weapons. Cons - members are no authorized to double tap ( 1 shot per second ). This limits those who have new weapons and want to test the reliability for quick follow up shots. - if you are wanting to train for competition USPSA, or IDPA ( Interntation Defensive Pistol Association ), this is not the place for you. - for those of you interested in their Tactical Pistol Matches. These matches allowed members to work on their fundamental shooting skills, weapons manipulation, draw from holster, shooting on the move, real life scenario training. Those have been canceled to issues unknown to me. I am a member at SLSA and enjoy what it has to offer and its locality, close to home. Train Hard and Defend Your 2nd Amendment Rights!
