Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend. Fries were super crunchy and amazing, but slightly over salted. Ham/bread/golden raisin mustard special was awesome. Lemon thyme spritzer and orange dream beverages, also wonderful. The beet special was wonderful, however not as cider forward as we expected and a bit spicy. Not many kid friendly options for smaller plates (I know they are not necessarily going for that crowd, but my kids aren’t super picky and can usually find something anywhere.)

We were suggested this by a friend who tried it and raved. We are from out of state and ended up with the Cuban and turkey sandwiches with a large fry flight. Overall the food was pretty good, the atmosphere is much better. The Cuban was a bit bland as were some of the sauces (for $2.50 a flight) but overall was pretty decent.

Saw tons of blogs and sites recommending this place when I was researching Portland food spots and happy to say it was well worth the hype!! We received very generous portions of the food we ordered and the fries were really really good! I also liked the overall aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant and thought the staff was both friendly and helpful - as we had lots of questions and needed help with deciding what to order.

Loved it here. Great experience. It's a nice contrast from all the lobster spots that I couldn't get enough of. I sat outside. Great vibes. Delicious food & drinks. Highly recommend.

Voted Best Poutine multiple times in the past 15 years! We make our duck gravy from scratch with roasted duck bones. Our cheese curds are from a local farm in Maine and our fries are true Belgian style, fried in duck fat. Choice of local farm duck egg, chick egg or duck confit on top.
Hi Patti, Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out! My husband Rob and I have owned Duckfat for 14 years and appreciate all feedback from our guests. We carefully considered adding the 10% service charge for to-go orders. This service charge enables us to provide prompt, professional service to all our guests, both in-house and to-go, and is shared equally between our kitchen and serving staff. Sincerely, Nancy Pugh
In theory. It's a small space and the wait could be long. Food is worth the wait.
I believe that you can call ahead, but I don't think that they take actual reservations
No, they don't do reservations but you can join the waitlist
There is street parking on both sides of the street and surrounding streets as well. The parking lot to the left of the restaurant has all day parking but expensive. Hope this helps.
I sat in the restaurant and ate the poutine...
Yes, but its a very small place so it still can be a bit stuffy
The restaurant is in Portland ME
