The staff here are friendly and helpful, and when I met with my QMP, I was impressed at how thorough, professional, and kind she was. However, the scheduling is not run as though this is a medical practice for chronically ill patients, or a medical practice at all. My card renewal appointment (made weeks in advance) just got canceled a couple of days out with no reason given other than "due to having no QMP at that time." I was invited to reschedule. I will be doing that--with someone else, in hopes that my future appointments will be treated as medical appointments for a medication I depend on for basic quality of life and functioning. I'm not able to risk missing my medication because my provider doesn't take my medical condition seriously.
