This place is great for TRAUMA! 10/10 DON'T RECOMMEND. I went to New beginnings in June of 2020. I was only there for one month, but that was more than enough. One weekend me and a female peer only had ONE MALE STAFF to watch TWO FEMALES FOR THREE DAYS! He would baraly watch us, I saw him vaping outside while we were waiting for dinner and had to remind him to feed the two of us. He was HIGH and STOLE MY DEBIT CARD and i was almost blamed for it. It took a lot of convincing to get him to be fired, but after a few weeks he finally was. The staff were not traind and would complain about how they "left working at the day care so they wouldn't have to deal with kids and we were worse than the kids.” This is very inapropriat to say to the paitients and just rude. There were many fights while i was there and the THE STAFF DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND COULD NOT HANDLE THEM. I would have breakdowns crying because of the fights and the only people who helped were the other PATIENTS! Almost nothing was locked up such as kitchen utensils, windows, or the doors. The food was terrible. The photos for the "tour" online are NOT PHOTOS OF THE facility! The place is super run down and looks terrible. When staff were anoyed they would tell kids to AWOL so they wouldn't have to deal with them any more. They would find vapes all the time and wouldn't do anything. Again, THIS PLACE IS GREAT FOR TRAUMA!!!

New Beginnings was really great for our daughter. The staff really helped her work through her issues and made sure she was in a good place to come home when she needed to.

I went to New beginnings back At the end of august up into start of December. While there me and a group of kids had to deal with an extremely traumatizing situation as a group that caused all of us to suffer from some mild PTSD. I remember it was bad enough to where groups and everything was canceled. I must say some stuff was not very respectful about the situation some comments were made about the situation and about how we handled to and ect. I am not going into the details due to privacy I thank Lisa For all of her hard work. I was in an out of hospitals, I went to New beginnings and Ever since I have been clean from self harm. I thank NB for everything they’ve done for me and my family

No. Items of high value are not permitted in the treatment program.

How old are the patients? Is this a step down or an intense facility? How much group and individual therapy is there in a day?
