We went to Sugarloaf to ski for the day. The Ambassadors are awesome. Ambassadors Kathleen Reardon, Chris Boudreau, Dave McKenna and the ski potroller (I didn't get his name) are a life saver. My families experience could have been a complete nightmare from our own doing I might add. Big shout out to their professionalism and hospitality. The slopes are absolutely breathtaking.

The location and the services at the hotel are the best. Really nice and cozy small kitchen inside of the room, including: dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, dishes and plates, silverware etc. Only minus that they are not really thinking about a tea lovers, 2 bags of tea( one herbal and one green tea), not even a black tea option. So compared to enormous amount of coffee cups, it was huge disappointment. I assume if I went to front desk they would fixed this issue. Each room has also bathrobes which is cool for hot tub visit. Their hot tub is awesome, nice and giant with gorgeous views. Front desk with nice resting or meeting area with cozy fireplace seats.

The worst skiing in history. The rental shop had a line out the door. After getting the skis I realized the person in the rental shop didn't fit my ski to my boot so I had to go back to the rental shop. After getting that fixed I had to wait in a 30 minute lift line. After getting up the mountain I realized the trail map isn't even remotely correct. Then after doing 1 trip down from the top (on a green mind you) my shins were extreme pain because of the horrible rental boots and my skis felt like they were on the verge of breaking. Never go to Sugar loaf. Go to Saddleback it is more than 100 times better, and has NO crowds.

Unbelievable property and should be a 5 star resort. However, there is a major lack of staff with almost no service at all. Blame covid like the rest of the usa. They refuse to work with Travel Agents which still makes up for 43% of the travel market. To Management: I travel all over the world as a Top Producing Travel Agent. Most Resorts and Cruise lines offer Free Travel during non peak times for Familiarity to learn the product. At the very least, significant discounts or the highest upgrades. I was refused any kind of discount, complimentary upgrade and was told all rates are non commissioned. Absolutely loved the skiing at Sugarloaf and potential of this resort. Sell over 1 Million dollars in Travel a year including Ski Resorts. But myself or my colleagues will never ever send someone here due to your policies. Unfortunately if asked should I go to sugarloaf or Abc resort. I will definitely tell them Sugarloaf is not worth it as I rely on commission for a living. Club Med Quebec is going to Dominate the Northeast when covid restrictions ease up. Better product and they partnered with Travel Agents across the Globe. It's too bad as many people are Missing out on a amazing product.

Yes and no. I am not sure of the route #'s but you would take the trail towards kingfield. From there Head towards Carrabbasset. You cant actually get to sugarloaf on a snowmobile but a few miles from it. It would land you on the other side of 27 and the Carrabbasset River near the old rail-road bed!!
The rack is almost always open
At Northern Outdoors and surroundings, couple hours drive.
Sorry, the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel does not allow pets.
There's a basketball court at the Anti Gravity Complex, located at the base of the Access Road.
We will be open until the last weekend of April, after which it will depend on the weather!
They're supposed to open next Saturday the 9th.
The busses don't start running until the mountain opens for skiing.
