Nice small campground on the river. Beautiful area with twisted oak trees and tall cliffs. It is right next to Highway 12 so there is naturally road noise but we had a spot on the river and it drowned out most of it. Make a reservation if you're coming on the weekend. Fun hikes in the area and it is close enough to Naches and Tieton you can get dinner if you don't feel like roasting hotdogs on the campfire.

Hey, new management here at windy point, we are in the process of making a new map, but basically site 1,2,3, 5, 12 are to the right surrounded by trees, 1, 3, 5, and 12 are very small sites 4, 6, 9, 10, 11 are all large river sites, 13 and 15 are large first come first serve sites in the sun closer to the road.
Having not camped here but stopped many times for bathroom and dog potty breaks, ive seen many trucks and suvs with trailers/campers that were not the HUGE ones and they seemed to fit fine. :)
The site I looked at said peak season May 22 to Oct 03 this year 2020 Starting January 27 2020 you can start making reservations. Hope this helps. P.s. Said max 22ft max for trailers but in a few spot you can get up 30ft in there,
