A staff member was available at a front window. She wasn't able to give me useful guidance. Literature is available in the entrance foyer. The office is closed to the public. I headed in the direction of the forest service land along Hey 410. I found a deserted camping area, spent a few minutes admiringly the Beaches River. A few miles further towards Mt. Rainier Park, I found a trail head: the key task. Again, deserted. I declined to hike it, but look forward to returning with a hiking buddy.

The office is very busy, Try calling again. 509-653-1401. They are more up to date than I am. Remember the office hours are 0800-1200 and 1230-1630 (430) Recreation says the water is fixed. There is solar powered water system. Have a good time.
Campfires are now permitted on the Naches Ranger District. Just make sure the campfires are attended at all times, and put out cold to the touch. Fail to do this and a ranger may give you a citation.
End of December through mid April
Nope
Yes there is.
Should be in the days to come. Seasonal workforce has been layed off for the winter, existing staff is currently wrapping up the prescribed fire activities as well as the Miriam fire. But yes, campfire restrictions have been lifted on Federal land.
Current fire restrictions still in effect are stage 1 fire restrictions for the OWF. Campfires are allowed in designated campgrounds only that include a metal ring. Campfires in dispersed sites are not allowed. Anything with a shut off valve is ok. This includes propane campfire stoves like the "campfire in a can", as well as propane bbq's. No charcoal briquette bbq's are allowed.
Depends on where you go. Usually, state run places need a discover pass and federal, you need an access pass. If you go to the Naches Ranger Station tomorrow, they will have a more exact answer and you can purchase whichever pass you need.
