THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH! There is a reason that the average is 3 stars. They only care about money. I waited a month for my appointment, only for them to cancel it 3 days before, for the therapist, CIARA LARSON, to attend a conference. Im pretty sure that conferences do not just happen over night; pretty sure they get scheduled months in advance. I had to take time off from work and she could care less. The HUNTSMAN MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTE does not have any ability to assist their patients from this lack of professionalism, so save your mental health and go to another doctor

I came here for my mental health and I had a weird and bad experience here. The nurses treat you like you’re crazy or animals and not like a human being. It really made my depression and anxiety worse. They also prank you and told me they switched my room to a different hall but it was still the same room I was in before I checked the garbage bag to see the stuff I threw in there to see if I’m going crazy. It was the same stuff that was there before. They try to make you think your crazy. Also they are rude and always ignore you. They get mad at you if you don’t take the medication they provide you. I had an unpleasant stay while being there. I would not recommend here, it honestly made my depression and self worth worse. They also lied to my parents and I that you could have visitors over to come see how I’m doing but then when I got admitted they told me you’re not allowed to have visitors over because dog Covid. Why did they lie about having visitors over if you can’t have visitors over at all.I had other friends who stayed here and had an even worse experience please go somewhere else that will treat you better
