They finished working on our floors faster than expected and for an affordable price too! Questions & Answers

What is the process to restore faded marble stone?

Solar Energy Company Tucson | Nov 2, 2021

When limestone, marble or another type of stone becomes heavily soiled or worn, it may look dull and blotchy in appearance. To restore the surface to its original color, remove any loose dirt and polish the stone with an appropriate product for this effect. Remember to take your time when using a cleaner/polisher to avoid inviting swirl marks into the surface. Buffing pads are available both ready-to-use and also in dry form where they can be mixed according to preference. For heavy soiling on limestone floors, powdered abrasives should only be used by professionals that are well trained in these techniques.

I was wondering if I can polish my own marble floors or do I need a professional?

Hi Robert, yes you can polish your own marble floors, but it also depends on how bad of a polish they need. For a one-time polish we recommend using baking soda and water. It is a reasonable alternative to costly products and is usually pretty successful. If you don't have any luck with that, give us a call and we can help
