Typical place. To come and discover during the week. The weekend is the place to be, indeed, permanent parade of boats, with loud sound system (cacophony difficult to bear) moreover, places are expensive.

Amazing, organized.

Peanut island is a mist visit place. We had the opportunity of camping and everything was great. The camping area is restricted to campers only with bathroom and showers. Also each tent area has its own grill. Views are amazing, if you get the chance for only $30 you can camp the night!

It's $12 to go there and back To get there, the latest boat is 3:30 pm And the latest boat to back there is 5:30 to 6pm You will ove it It very cool there Good for family and friends
Parking is available by the shuttle boat pickup area. Right when entering the street to go to the shuttle boat there is parking towards the right for peanut island visitors.
Its basically always open given they have camp grounds there. The limitation would be on getting there. We anchored off shore on our sailboat. Went there a couple times during evening without issue.
It kind of really depends on how busy they are. They tend to run about every 20 minutes because it takes them at least 10/12 minutes there an the same back. But if it's a slow day it's much faster. They are really really nice there so ask as many questions as you want. Have fun it's a wonderful place.
$12 adults $6 kids
It's free! All you have to do is have a boat to get their. (Boat parking is free). If you cant, they have a beach just across the way. (Parking isnt free).
Yes they do. On the east and south east sides of the island.
I walked through the campground. It is nicely seculded with trees and some tent spots are more surrounded by trees than others. I cant give dementions. I noticed some sites had two tents or a tent and canapy. For a small campground the tent sites are quite large. Remember you can't drive to the island so you have to lug everything you bring onto the ferry and it is about a ten minute walk to the CG
The Park worker advised me that everything must be brought in by the camper. There are no merchant facilities on the Island.
Hi, Gisela. I would recommend contacting Peanut Island directly for current daily rates. You can contact them at (561)845-4445. Melanie, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.

park is now open for visitors.. great place for family fun
You can rent it at the desk before you take the boat over to the island
No not on the island itself, but there is a restaurant/tiki bar right there (across parking lot) that we usually stop at for drinks and dinner after the beach.
The lagoon inside the foot bridge gets to about 15 ft at high tide and no current. If u go outside footbridge not bad current close to beach. On other side of sunken rocks current can be tricky at times don't venture out too far plus boat traffic To get to peanut Island u can take ferry at Riviera Beach marina unless u have a boat or kayak
There are no homeless shelters in palm beach county. They're illegal. There are two places that help. The lords place and the Lewis center. While your waiting for a call back there are plenty of public parks that turn into homeless community sleep outs. Good luck.
Ferry takes u there and back for $20 when Camping overnight for as many nights as u are there 2 get off the island and back in the middle of your stay is $8 round trip.$12 the Day trip.10 am to 5 pm every 20 minutes.Must call the park and reserve your camping spot before the ferry trip.
Only tens, because it's a island You go in your boat, or water taxi. Camping max time is 3 nights $30. A night. No electricity, go swimming and fishing, very clean. It's a paradise for me.
Just make sure you bury it at the bottom of your cooler
Campsites do not have electricity. For your safety and comfort, extension cords and generators are not permitted.
$28 and maximum 3 days
I'm not certain on the exact size but I was able to take my family of 6 there and set up two tents
They have rentals at the water taxi station
