Move-in experience has been great, staff very kind/helpful, and obviously you aren't going to find an apartment building with a better view anywhere in the SL valley. I have a couple minor issues with it and I think the information might help anyone deciding since I didn't see them mentioned. NOISE The HVAC in these units is the loudest I have ever heard in my life. You cannot have a conversation if the HVAC is on unless you literally shout over it. It's astonishingly loud, and it's not just a normal constant white noise roar. It pulses, gasps, and wheezes and almost like it's suffocating, and occasionally a shaking perceptible low frequency repeated pounding (almost like a subwoofer but I've confirmed it's my HVAC unit) that is felt more than heard. The system is very, very, very, loud -- it typically is about 65dB when running. INTERNET The "high-speed fiber" included with the $200 amenity package is only 100Mbps, not the typical gigabit (1000Mbps) as you would assume, given that 100Mbps is the slowest fiber connection offered by any provider and it is a $200 package -- far more expensive than the typical $100-150 amenity packages at most buildings in Salt Lake that universally are gigabit at that price point (so ~$50 cheaper and 10 times faster). The pricing breakdown is: • $250/month to get 500Mbps and an eye-watering $275/month to get gigabit service, which is insane. • Yeah, the $275 includes cable TV, but the building I moved from charged $130 for cable TV+gigabit (1,000Mbps) fiber internet, the exact same package. Google fiber charges $70 for gigabit internet where available, so you're looking at a little over double fair market price. • Meanwhile, Mereo, the provider responsible for it, boasts to property managers the amazing revenue boosts they will surely bring them (a bit brazen of a thing to say on the webpage Mereo directs its new involuntary customers to before they've even had a chance to recover from their dazed astonishment at the exorbitant prices they've just been exposed to) presumably because you have no other choice so they can charge you more than double the market rate for 1/10th the speed, which really rubs me the wrong way. Probably a rather niche gripe that only comes from nerds like me, but just making the PSA because I wish I had known that before but it was not mentioned at any point in the leasing process that the $200 package is 10 times slower than the customary amenity package in Salt Lake -- I didn't find out until I started moving in, haha. Everything else about this place is great, but just wanted to make that available for others deciding. :) The building really is beautiful and staff are super responsive. Units are full of nice touches like premium finishes, huge kitchen sinks, smart locks, smart garage doors, amazing underground parking, very plentiful EV chargers (16 on each of the 2 indoor parking levels!). Just wish the internet were more reasonable and that the tiers were covered at the getgo, and the HVAC is definitely unfortunate, although it works very well, noise aside.

Samantha helped me tour a few different options. She was very patient and kind in the whole process.

A month ago as my family was moving into Point of View I was met by a resident who told me it was the worst mistake of my life, and proceeded to list numerous deficiencies. They were apparently imaginary or greatly exaggerated, because we have been extremely pleased with the amenities, service and management of this complex. So have the many other residents we have met since then. Among the features we appreciate most are the underground secure parking, building door and individual apartment security locks, quality appliances, 3 well-maintained dog parks, 2 hot tubs, huge exercise room and clubhouse, 5 elevators, Amazon automated package room, and huge optional indoor storage rooms within a few feet of our unit at a very reasonable price. And best of all, the staff -- most of whom live on-site - have been consistently thoughtful and helpful.

We stayed in the guest suites for our vacation and it was like living at a resort. The rooms, clubhouse, and complex in general are beautifully decorated. The amenities were a huge plus! We were in the hot tubs every other night, and then took in the gorgeous views next to the firepit. The highlight of the trip for me was booking a massage with Tiffany. She is a trainer on the property and offers fitness classes too, if we stayed longer I'd take them all. Tiffany was a delight to be around. She created a zen environment, and I was relaxed in no time. She also has the perfect balance of strong and gentle massage techniques. The price was completely reasonable too and I was glowing the rest of the day.
