I would give 0 stars if I could to the pharmacy portion of this CVS store. I actually like the store and front end associates, and the convenience of it to my house is great. Where I have the problem is with the actual pharmacy and their lack of putting the patient first. I, am state certified pharmacy technician with 18 years of experience under my belt in retail, and what happened to my daughter bothers me as a parent and as a fellow pharmacy colleague. Their water dispensing machine, a Fillmaster, was calibrated incorrectly, and my 2.5 year old received an overly concentrated antibiotic. Mistakes happen, and luckily she seems to be unharmed, but the lack of concern by the CVS staff and the pharmacist specifically bothers me. The medication was dispensed on 6/29/22 and she had received 13 of 20 doses, when I realized there was no way I had 60 mls remaining in the bottle. 35 mls to complete her regimen plus the 25 mls I should have had to toss due to the amount dispensed vs. how much was needed. I took it back to the pharmacy on 7/5/22, told them the situation, asked them to check their Fillmaster, and sure enough it was way off. The pharmacist on duty at about 8:30PM on 7/5/22, showed no regard to the mistake. Didn't even come over to talk to me as the parent, just continued about her work as if nothing happened. The technician measured water by hand, mixed a new bottle, and gave it back to me sans label, and I'm not even sure that pharmacist checked behind him. Just makes me wonder how many other patients in their pharmacy have received incorrect doses? I know that most reconstitutables in a pharmacy are antibiotics for children, and if they aren't showing concern and attention to detail on the most vulnerable patients, what else are they also not paying attention to? How many Quillivant prescriptions have been incorrectly reconstituted? They are an extremely busy store, but that is no excuse for the lack of attention to detail.

Rude pharmacy tech. It’s the white guy. He seems to be a diva or don’t like his job. Everybody is short of staff. I know how to be patient. But being rude is unnecessary to customers that don’t have nothing to do with your day! I don’t know if he is New but never experienced that until recently when he is working.

I went in to get a flu shot and had an appointment online but still had to wait. When I finally got called to go get the shot the lady was highly untrained, it looked like she didn’t even know what she was doing. Not to mention how rude the head pharmacist was, her name was Christy. She was very unprofessional.

I regret changing to this CVS pharmacy. Almost every prescription item isn’t in stock. My previous pharmacy notified me if an item showed up as not covered by insurance. Not here. Wait for item to come in, go there only to find out you …
