I like Windy Ridge for a lot of things. It was especially good when the kids were younger - there's lots of home-spun fun for kids. But when we visited this year, it was packed, they were out of donuts, and had closed the cafe a little early (this was just before 3:00). Still bought some cider. Arrive early I guess.Hi John - thanks for your review. Unfortunately, we have experienced some supply and staffing issues this season so we have had to limit cafe operations

Picked apples on Saturday, Oct 9. They told us "you might have to hunt a bit". The apples didn't stand a chance... No hunting. We filled a bag without walking one row. Plentiful, delicious PYO apples. We bought a half dozen cider donuts too. Great day at Windy Ridge Orchard.We are so glad you enjoyed your visit!

Probably the best apple cider donuts I’ve eaten in the area. Exceptional service. My friends and I arrived a bit after they closed but they still welcomed us in to grab donuts and apples in their general store. We then returned the following day to get more at their cafe! They also have seasonal apple picking and a nice play area for children. They do close for the season this upcoming weekend but I’d highly recommend visiting when they re-open!

Cafe hours 7-3 until October 27th 9 o'clock is best for apple picking, gift shop, trails etc.
We paid $12.50 for a peck of apples. $8.50 for a dozen of some of the BEST donuts ever!
