Love this place I've stayed there atleast once a year for the last 20 years if you're looking for a 5star hotel it's not the place for you. but if you enjoy a family friendly old cabin style with personal hospitality you'll enjoy every minute and memories....

Stopped on the way back home. Amazing ambience! Do try the hot chocolate, it was perfect for the weather. (October 2021) Very cozy place with a fireplace, pool table, board games.

Negative reviews are extremely overblown. Perfect place to spend a night after 100+ miles on the Tahoe Rim Trail. Cold beer, friendly staff, and a decent room for under $80. Would recommend!

The only thing nice about this place is the elderly man that worked here when we checked in at night. I was warned it was a small room with two twin beds. But that was not the issues. The issue was there was no bathrooms in the rooms, there was a shared bathroom in the hall which upon arrival the men's bathroom was clogged with poop. There was no ac in the rooms either and not even a tiny TV which are soo cheap these days. Then in the morning I went to check the bathroom again because I needed to go number 2 and it was clean so I lock the door and begin to use it. THEN SOMEONE JUST UNLOCKED THE DOOR WHILE I WAS GOING!!! we go to check out then a young gentleman came and broke change for a lady then was just going to walk off without even acknowledging me!!! I was like excuse me I need to check out. Then he just told me rudely to throw them on the desk... horrible experience... the only nice thing was the old man at night who gave me an extra pillow and blanket and mattress pad.
