Checked in 5/5/22 to attend a family wedding downtown Le Claire. Rooms were clean/nice. After a long drive we found the hot tub closed...disappointing. The hotel is located close to freight train tracks. Loud/long trains all night..obnoxious train horns made it impossible to sleep for adults and little ones. Note ...book a room on the river side!! We heard it was better there, not as loud. Friday before the wedding, wanted to chill in the hot tub...still closed. Saturday we had the grand kids (2) went to the pool area there was about 30 young kids who took over the entire pool area. A few adults supposed to be supervising them were drinking beer. Deafening screaming, we had to leave after my 4 year old grand daughter was nearly hit in the head with a football thrown by an adult! The entire situation was terrible. Never saw anyone from the hotel check the area. Such a nice hotel but the trains and pool/hot tub area disappointments spoiled our stay there.

We returned to this motel to meet an old friend for a couple of days. The staff was very friendly and kind. The lobby/eating area provided a nice space to meet for wine before dinner. Our lovely upgraded room was perfect to comfortably chat in the evenings.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Rooms were so comfortable and clean! The manager Rebecca goes out of her way to accommodate your every needs. The staff I encountered, Dita, Crisy, Gail and Hannah were all so friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful but I had the most interactions with the above staff. I can't say one negative thing about this hotel and the manager and the staff!

So, I booked the balcony room and what I thought was their best room in the hotel. Checked in and went to the room. Not big, but fine. Went out on the balcony and another person was already there smoking a cigarette. The balcony was shared with another room. Meaning that not only are we 2’ from the guy smoking but he could wander over and look in the windows whenever he wanted. Of course, no private balcony rooms were available and had to settle for a room without a balcony and without a stranger in it. The front desk didn’t say how they were going to make it right. Hopefully, they will.

Yes there is a hot tub, wasn't the warmest when we checked in but after asking they turned it up a couple of degrees waited a few hours for the change in temp and then it was perfect. Not boiling you like a pot of chicken soup and not luke warm bath water. Nice and relaxing.
You can call the hotel & ask.I believe it's allowed. They haved a boat storage next door to them.
This is really close to the Quad Cities. I feel certain you could find what you are looking for thete.
check IHG.com, look up their information and call them. I usually use cash and points.
I was there a week ago there is a little flooding but not on main streets. The street by the hotel is passable.
