My personal experience is great with her and her staff, although I've noticed some reviews with one star rating. What I know is that this lawyer doesn't say you what you want to hear. She tells the truth and not always we can handle it. I visited so many attorneys thorough the years and besides charging you lots of money, they lied and take advantage of your situation giving you false hopes, and towards the end, they say that they tried very hard but unfortunately he or she couldn't do nothing. And that's BS. Because they knew it since the beginning, but some of them are greedy and dishonest. Ms Ybarra has expensive fees, but they're worth it penny by penny. She's way to honest. I visited her a few years ago and she told me that couldn't help me and gave me my money back. But I insisted and this time she found a way due to her extensive experience. She's not a magician, and she can't please everyone. But for me she is the best.

I had the displeasure of asking for an appointment with this pseudo-professional a few years ago, she treated me very badly, she insulted me alluding to my nationality saying that the people of my country "had already eaten the cable and are eating the pole" also alluding that my relationship was false and that I was with my partner out of interest, very bad service and worse as a professional quality. I paid him to insult me because he charges for his consultations, fortunately I found an excellent and true professional who took care of my case. Watch out ! with this place I had a disgusting experience with this so-called “professional” a couple of years ago. She was very nasty and discriminated against me because of my origin, by saying that the people from my country are in really bad conditions and that basically they are trying to take advantage of this country. Also, she said in other words that my relationship was fake. Really bad customer service and worse as a "professional" I paid her to be rude with me, but fortunately I found a good lawyer who took care of our case to the end and I already became a resident as well as an American citizen. Be careful with this place and so-call lawyer!

If I could give negative five stars, I would. Back in 2001, my family was going through an immigration nightmare and hired Grisel Ybarra with hopes that she would help them see a light at the end of the tunnel. They couldn't have made a bigger mistake as she managed to take $17,000 of their hard earned money away from them in the span of one year and do absolutely nothing with their case. Thankfully, they didn't give up and eventually got their green cards. Today, they are productive tax paying US citizens NOT thanks to her. Don't even think twice about going here. Just avoid her like the plague! If I could give a negative five star review, I would.
