Great place. Clean, affordable, close to what we needed. Owner was super friendly and accommodating. Great place to stop.

This place was less than desirable. The outside looks cozy and inviting but it stops there. Hubby and his crew stayed here and had to beg for towels because they were told they would not clean room if any personal items were in it?? The toilet sloped to one side which made it very awkward to go to the bathroom, the shower was also uneven and puddled in the corners, the bathroom door barely shut without hitting the sink, beds were like boards with padding over them and the main door into the room was so hard to open or shut you literally had to pull and pull. I stopped in for a night with my daughter and our Dog. The girl (owner/ maid) Not sure... has two Chichiuas that almost attacked me the night before and she did nothing about it. Then the morning we are packing up she yells at my daughter for having a dog and demanded I pay more (which I understand) but didn't need to cuss at my 12 year old daughter about supposedly stepping in our dogs dog $hit. This place needs MAJOR customer service and Me nor my Hubby's crew will ever stay here again. Bad energy, bad vibes. Don't waste your money !!!!

I got caught in a snow storm in 2007 in Cedar River with my two young children with only enough gas money to return home. The people I met there gave me a room, a meal, and even a change of clothes for the kids. Every once in a while in life, you meet people who give you faith in humanity. I found it in Cedar River.
