This motel is a gem in the middle of Wisconsin. Between bigger towns, but easily accessed at an interstate exit, the motel is clearly well loved and managed. The rooms are newly renovated from floor to ceiling and look fantastic. Don’t be put off by the fact that you have to check in at the gas station next door. The process was not as sketchy as it sounds. The friendly young lady at the gas station ushered us to a separate window for hotel guests, with its own computer, and printed out a receipt and gave us our key. It was all very professional and legitimate. I appreciated the refrigerator in the room. The only complaint I have is that there are no curtains of any kind, only blinds, on the windows in the room. The motel is well lit outside, and that bright light makes the rooms quite bright throughout the night, with no way to darken the room. A simple fix for this would be to install blackout curtains on every window. For around $60 for a double room, this place is well worth the stop. If it weren’t for the lack of blackout curtains (I have trouble getting to sleep in a room that’s not very dark), we would make this a regular stop on our annual cross country road trip.

This motel was kept nice and clean. We had a cat along and they allowed us to take it in so we were happy about that. It had the exterior doors so it was perfect for anyone with pets. The staff were friendly. You check in at the BP gas station next to it. We will definitely stop here again.
