I have been coming to the location in Dundee for over 20 years off and on. I moved away from Omaha in 2013, but was back for the funeral of my 2 moms, just 2 years apart. My mothers were well known at this location and always treated with great dignity. I was in town this weekend for a wedding and needed clothes professionally cleaned and pressed for the event. I never hope that they will stay fresh and unwrinkled in my suitcase. As always, I got them back in 24 hours -- same day is still possible -- but I simply came back the next day. Lillie took care of me on both days. She greeted customers by their last name and was frustrated when she got the last name of a customer wrong. She explained to him apologetically that she has two regulars named RYAN and she simply used the other Ryan's last name. You could see that he was touched by her apology. Customer service like Lillie's has mostly disappeared. I work for an airline out of Atlanta and we try when we can to address passengers who we have just met by their last name. We have a virtual seating chart and the tools needed to do that. Passengers always tell us how elevated their experience is when we address them by their name (family or otherwise). Although Lillie had never met me before, she greeted me with the smile and warmth that she did her regulars. Max I. Walker is blessed to have someone like Lillie. Forgive if the spelling is wrong. Great customer service is what brings people back for more business when there are other options out there, especially ones that are closer. Lillie is great for business and may she be recognized for that both in words and compensation.

All the items we clean have a base price assigned, but until a garment and its care tags are examined in person by a dry cleaning specialist, it is nearly impossible to provide an accurate price quote to clean the item. Premium or luxury fabrics, certain kinds of decorations, or excessive staining will require special care during cleaning, and can increase the total price to clean a garment. Max I. Walker will always offer a detailed, no-obligation price quote at in-store drop off, if the customer requests it. While we are unable to publish prices, we are committed to being 100% transparent in letting our customers know the base price to clean a garment and why any additional fees would be applied.
