Big Buck is a very unique campground. They have two good size ponds with a good number of sites close by. Another group of sites are nestled among the trees with plenty of shade. One very unique feature is there a hundred yard rifle range with two shooting stations. Another would be their trap range. No 10-year rule here! There were quite a few much older rigs with tarps over them in disarray scattered about. We had to use our 30-foot extension cord to reach our power that ran over sewer piping that was above ground. Only upside it is very quiet the owner was very pleasant it was a good stopover for a few days. I would stay again if ever through that area.

My fiancé and I are currently trying to find remedies to lessen the symptoms of being attacked by bed bugs our first night of stay. The staff was helpful and did put us in another cabin and gave us some money back but damage was already done. I’m more so writing this as a forewarning for everyone to check everything throughly. We assumed they were only in the main room but they were also upstairs.

Great drive through sites with fire pit and grill for each site. Bathhouse was nice and clean. Pool was refreshing. Beautiful woods all around, and a C/R fishing pond.

Hello Helena, our restaurant is open Friday and Saturday night-5 to 8 pm. There is also JJ Fish house, Joe's Steakhouse, Biscuitry, and a Mexican restaurant in Bolivar. Beer is served at the Mexican restaurant (I think). Selmer has several Mexican restaurants that serve beer and MaMa Fia's an Italian place. Walmart is in Selmer and Bolivar if you just want to pick up some beer. The cabin has a fridge, microwave, oven, and so on.
No court here, there is a basketball goal over by site 61, but there is a basketball court in Hornsby, 2 miles away.
No fishing license in big buck are needed
There is 7 miles of trails and yes you can ride for hours!
Thank you for your help.
It ranges from easy to pretty wild depending on what you are wanting and how far back in the woods you go.
It is about $75.00 a day. They have Two rooms and a one bedroom.
I am not really sure but i think it does. You can set a tent up in the camper section.
