We had been with Dr. Cory since 1981, when I was young and my parents took our dog and cat. We've had other pets and took them too. In 2010 I ran into financial troubles. Our cat suddenly became sick, and needed treatment. The treatment came to over $3,000. I was making payments and only had about $200 left. I had some financial difficulties and wasn't able to make the payment. They sent me to a collection agency. Later, when I was back on my feet, I wanted to pay them and send my animals there. I talked to a manager and they couldn't take my payment BUT also couldn't tell me who the collection agency was. After many promises to call me back with that info, I gave up and took them somewhere else. The only thing i miss is Dr. Cory.

I cannot speak to any other VCA location but this one on 64th has a staff that is the best I have ever encountered. I came in with my dog in bad shape and they were the closest place. They took him back immediately no questions asked to work on him. They have went above and beyond to care for my critically ill pet. Dr. Mix is the most loving and caring vet I have ever come across. Lynn at the front desk also touched my heart and went above and beyond. But I can say that for every single front desk staff member and vet tech. Although I don’t know if my boy will survive this illness as of yet, it’s not for lack of trying by this entire team. I could not recommend them more. I’ll forever be grateful to them.

Dr Mix and Dani were amazing this morning with the dogs!!! I was super impressed with how they handled very rambunctious lab mixes. The dogs LOVE both of these employees!!!!
