Went as a boy over 20 years ago. Horrible experience. So glad I quit this organization. I won’t ever come back and I will ensure my children and grandchildren never come either.

Couldn’t eat coconuts, and I got stung by jellyfish repeatedly. The jellyfish is not a sea base issue, but it definitely made the not eating coconuts more unfortunate.

Just left sea base. The staff were amazing, specifically Mikey. I'm honestly just leaving this review because my crew and I are all disappointed that we will never see him again.

Amazing experience, would recommend for all Scouts!

I can assure you that you will be allowed to participate. I just captained an all female troop with two adult females. I have had many trips with boys and an adult female aboard. Please cone and enjoy!!
Most of the physical structures are intact. Cleanup efforts are ongoing, however, Florida Sea Base 73.8 is close to operational. We have volunteers and staff working to clean up the base now. Our goal is to have the base running as normal on October 7, with some ongoing cleanup taking place at the Brinton Environmental Center and Big Munsen Island through November.
He needs a male adult and preferably another male youth
No. They actually give you a crash course in snorkeling the afternoon your boat goes out.
SeaBase is activelt running all programing this summer, 2021.
Hello - definitely going to want to call the office and talk to the scuba program director for that. Likely will need a specific medical clearance.
The snack shop only takes cash, but cards are accepted at the main ships store. A prepaid debit card and a little cash would be a good plan.
Are they coming to seabase during season or are they looking to stay on their travel down?
Hi Sandra, in regards to the seabase family adventure saturday, lunch is provided for purchass where all proceeds go to support local cub scout packs
That is a registered logo, you will need to call the main contact number on the website and they will be able to help you.
Sea Base will provide daily shuttles for a van driver to drop off vehicles in Marathon. The Brinton Center provides the same service at rental car companies in Key West. However, crews are encouraged to keep vehicles on site in the event of an evacuation. This is especially important mid-July through the end of August.
Probably not. You should call to ask.
That will require another boat. You will need to talk with Sea Base to see if another boat is available.
Wilderness First Aid or a basic First Aid class and CPR are reccomened in taking before arrival
