This was actually the highlight of our trip to the Keys. The Dolphin show was terrific. Parrot.show was good and the Shark feeding was well done. I'd like to see a.better situation for watching the Gator show but understandably hard to accommodate gawkers. Go see the show especially if ya have kids. They offer military discounts on tickets which is appreciated, but not merchandise which is understandable.

Had a great time with my girlfriend here. Got to swim with Bella the Sea Lion and it was a blast. She has to be without a doubt the cutest head wobbler in the world. Thank you for the great experience!

The shows are pretty cool and informative. Their main purpose is to educate people about rescued animals, and they do a great job! The crew is amazing and very willing to talk about their favorites friends!... super recommended.

Was there 3 weeks ago amazing.
Most of our animals are rescues including sea turtles, birds, crocodilians, sea lions, and dolphin. Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea!
Just show up. Look for coupons in local travel mags.
there was significant damage done to landscaping but the marine mammals and other creatures went largely unscathed.
Hi Jennifer, You can make reservations online on our website. I recommend making reservations as soon as you know the date you will be visiting the park. Our interaction programs often sell out during busy months of the year. You do not need to make reservations for general admission but can book your tickets online. If you need immediate assistance, call 305-664-2431 ext. 0 or utilize the chat feature on our website 9am-5pm EST. Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea.
Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea. If you are interested in the animal care department, you need to be at least eighteen years of age. Most animal care specialists have a college degree in marine biology or psychology. There is information on our website regarding how to become a marine mammal trainer.
Child $23 and those 11 and older $40. 5 short animal shows or talks. A nice snack hut and a short walk to the far lagoon to fed parrot fish. You have to spend a little to make trip memorable.
Easy and fun trip, walkways aren't covered, however, shows are with the exception of the reptile walk. I'd still go even if it was raining.
Yes, it's a rotating schedule of shows. They even have a beach/ swim area to let the kids swim and lawn chairs out. You'll enjoy it, kids to elderly. My mom is 88 and we all had a wonderful time!
We have a wheelchair that can be used free of charge and is available on a first come first serve basis. All off Theater of the Sea is ADA compliant.
Yes... We are open 7/7 365 days a year from 9.15 am till 5 pm... Last admission to the park 3.30 pm last time to see all shows 2.15 pm
Yes, they have restrooms. They have a scheduled list of the shows. The shows get repeated 3 times. The shows start at 9:30
No, it is part of their services
Hi. Outdoor showers are available for guests. Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea.
Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea! We are open 365 days a year.
No. They go through a series of trained tricks sith the dolphins. The trainer will tell you where to swim and what hand movements to do. And the dolphins will come out and do whatever trained trick that is. However, one of those things is swimming down and back in their lake, and the dolphins come and swim next to you on your lap.
Hi. Thank you for your interest in Theater of the Sea. Dolphin Swim From $210 (includes general admission) Swim with dolphins in the Florida Keys! During Theater of the Sea’s Swim with the Dolphin program, you can touch and interact with a dolphin while swimming and snorkeling around the lagoon and while doing behaviors such as dorsal tows, hugs, and foot pushes.
There is a Groupon usually that might save you 6 bucks or so...
We just got back from FL and the water was comfortable to swim w the dolphins. No wet suit needed. They gave us fins. Any sunblock that's not natural make sure it's applied an hour before the swim. There's a chemical in one's like coppertone that's harmful to the oceans and they ask who's put it on. The lagoon there is a nice dip too.
You should make reservations. I showed up without reservations and I ended up just doing waiting with the dolphins. Hope that helps you.
No, you cannot bring in outside food. You can leave and return later though.
$42 per person For regular admission
That is the registration fee. Includes all shows. To interact with the animals, swim with the dolphins, feed the sharks at an additional cost.
There is not a Florida residents discount. The only discount I saw was the purchase online discount. $3 off. It is a great venue and worth the money. All of the shows are much closer than I have seen anywhere else. The Animal Actors are within feet of the stands.
It really depends on time of year, any popular vacations occurring at that time , spring break, that sort of thing. Also, Im sure its a bit more crowded during the weekends as compared to mon thru friday. I nelieve a safer bet would be to book ahead of time, to insure you are in the time slot that works best for you and tour party. You will have A GREAT time there!! Enjoy!!
I think they mean if you go there for a special program like "swim with the dolphins" allow another 2.5 hours to see the rest of the shows in the park that are included with general admission.
The parrots have very small cages :(
Does not understand
Clarification is not a beach overlooking the sea It is artificial. That the deepest is 4 or 5 feet
During thevswim with the dolphin program you will be in the water for 30 minutes
Its a wonderful place. All the animals are well taken care of. They are all rescues. Donation s can be made to help with their care and veterinary expenses.
You need to understand English to understand their instructions
Approximately $35
Admission is 34.99 per adult only for the shows they have. And they charge more if you want to swim with the dolphins.
We had 6 in our group. That seemed fairly typical. If you're looking for a solo encounter, you might have to ask. I would guess they'd have a very hard time accomodating more than 10 in a group. 30 minutes in the water.
They are not letting anyone into the keys untill every bridge is inspected. Could be a long while
