Radio Island Public Beach Access

We love Radio Island! It's super small so it's better to avoid it on the weekends when it's crazy packed. But weekday mornings are glorious! The water is so calm so it's perfect to take the littles here! No waves, lots of cool boats to see and there are bathrooms and a shower!

Super crowded. I dont mind out of towners but jeez some of these people have no clue how to act in public. They sit right on top of you and then let their kids out of sight and next thing you know they are all up in your space bubble. This place can be rough in the height of tourist season.

A smaller beach in a sound area. This area was not crowded even on a perfect day. There were no large waves like on the ocean beach but the shoreline dropped into deeper water fairly quickly due to being dredged out for the larger boats and the marina.

Cute small beach, get there early! No shelling, even though they've dredged the area to build it back. Just a nice little beach to relax. There were some folks surf fishing. Bathroom at parking lot, boardwalk to the sand, area to spray off as well. No lifeguard. Take your trash with you. Dogs on leash at all times, or leave at home.
