Plenty of parking with lots of students to train with. For those with busy work schedules, you can find several times for classes with black belt instructors that train for IBJFF tournaments around the country.

I’ve tried to contact the business several times, when I finally do, I get someone on the phone with a very unfriendly “hello…”. I thought this must be a mistake so I asked if this was the company, and to my suprise, yep. I wanted so badly to like this place and have the opportunity to come here.

Why must parents be patient and not expect the immediate result?

ZR Team NC | Sep 28, 2018
ZR Team NC | Sep 28, 2018

Parents must exercise caution not to demand too much from their children. Some parents pressurize their children to the extent of shouting at them during performances. Another main reason for joining Jiu-jitsu is to have fun, get in good shape and become confident. Parents should not believe that Jiujitsu is all about tournament and winning medals. A parent must understand that by enrolling a child in a Jiu-Jitsu program, it is an investment of money and into the future development of the child and this progress comes slowly with time.

ZR Team NC | Sep 28, 2018

Many people treat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as an after-school program, which is relatively unimportant compared to other sports. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is not an after-school program, day care or a temporary experience as most people assume. It is a personal investment that will benefit our students in life. Some of the benefits include achieving our life goals, building confidence, eradicating bullying, and building our character. To accomplish these things, it is necessary that we all recognize that it takes time, hard work and dedication.

ZR Team NC | Sep 28, 2018

It has been said quite often that self-defense is not the same as Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Self-defense is a universally acknowledged art. Learning how to self-defend removes the fear of confrontations and gain courage through training in different scenarios. In contrast to the Brazilian jiu-jitsu, deals with ground fighting. The only difference in the two is the purpose as to why people undertake them; both coach their learners to fight and defend themselves.

We have a one-time registration fee of $100. If it is a case of family membership, the fee is split among the enrolling family members. The cost of the Kids program is $1,500. If an average parent or guardian decides to have a 12-month payment option, the cost will be equated to $125 per month. Other payment options such as family and military discounts are available.
