The house is amazing example of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Docent very knowledgeable with a great delivery. Very enjoyable experience and I would do it again. We did this as part of a tour of Springfield and Lincoln history.

Beautiful home but not particularly practical. Like a piece of art.

Man it was interesting, wish I was allowed to take photos but no dice. A definitive list topper in Springfield.

It will be completely decorated for Christmas as of Nov. 30th. Special evening Christmas walk-through tours are available during December. Call the historic site for dates & times.
You can go to the web site for your question. I don't know the answer to your question. Sorry.
Not that I could tell. We toured last week. One person was unable to take all the steps. The stayed in the main area, but I don’t know how a wheelchair would get around.
Around an hour.
Good question did you try googling it?
Yes. But carry the baby. Lots of steps/stairs making it hard to have a stroller in the house.
No idea. Have you checked their website?
In the carriage house, it's inside the fence.
It's a donation, so it's voluntary. But giving just a few dollars would be appreciated I'm sure.
The suggested donation is $10, but you can give as much or as little as you like.
