If possible, move to safety, but do not leave the scene. Check for injuries and call 911 if anyone is hurt. Seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Call the police, but do not admit fault, and do not speak to an insurance agent without talking to a personal injury lawyer. Exchange and document information. Be honest with your doctor regarding the pain you are experiencing.
Interview lawyers in-person or over the phone, read reviews on third-party sites such as Google and Yelp, and go with who you feel most comfortable with.
