I’ve been coming to this Food Lion for years & have always been fairly ok with it, nothing spectacular but ok…today I went to the bakery to order a sheet cake,& waited & waited for someone to acknowledge I was even standing there…finally a young man came over, I told him I needed a sheet cake for Saturday afternoon ( today was Thursday)…he was very arrogant & told me they didn’t have enough time (he thought today was Friday)…I corrected him & told him I’ve never had a problem getting cakes before with 24 hrs notice, much less over 48 hrs! …he said they couldn’t do it so I left after letting some employees know what had happened…his attitude was obnoxious…I called another grocery store & they were so accommodating & had no problem with my simple request…I never intend to go back to this Food Lion…if they can t bake a simple cake in 48 hrs, it’s nothing but pure laziness….and I know it’s hard to get employees these days, but this guy shouldn’t be working with customers…
