Her staff is very competent in explaining the process as it is very overwhelming and nothing moves fast with divorce/custody etc, but when it is time for court she means business. I unquestionably had a superior lawyer in court and I paid much less than my x-wife. My x-wife's lawyer gave her lots of FaceTime, and charged her by the minute to make her feel like she was getting good representation, but ended up misrepresenter her on multiple issues, insulted me the whole time in an attempt to cause war only for our case to drag on in which he could charge her more lawyer fees. He was an absolute joke when it came down to the important proceedings and thanks to Mrs. Britt I have regained custody with my children and was more than willing to assist us both at the end of the process as she cares about the family not just racking up unnecessary legal fees. Give her some patience and she WILL get you results. Very ethical and reasonably priced.

Would not recommend! After my consultation, I decided to hire Ms. Britt to represent me in my custody case. My case was in another county about 45 minutes away, but because Ms. Britt didn’t know the judge personally, she decided she wasn’t going to go to court on my behalf, but suggested instead that I hire an attorney in Pitt County to have the case transferred to Nash county. That was very corny of her, considering the fact that she had already taken my $1000 retainer fee to represent me. To make a long story short, my case was not transferred and I had to go to court alone. I unfortunately am not happy with the result of my custody case and I would not recommend Ms. Britt to anyone. As a matter of fact, I can count on 2 fingers how many times I talked to her directly, her paralegal Denise was really my lawyer to be honest.
