I tried consigning furniture with Classy Cat and was treated so unprofessionally because of my "divorce situation". I have been divorced for 11 years and my ex wife sold the home we once shared, offering me furniture which I decided to consign. I tried consigning with Classy Cat, followed the instructions online as I had been instructed to do, and then received an email that an attendant from the store had to inspect the furniture. I arranged for the inspection and then received the following from Jennifer. I couldn't believe what I was reading as this attendant never once had the courtesy to actually get the context of my request and instead made a rude assumption. So unprofessional!! Andrew, After speaking with my Manager, Renzo, we think it's best that if you would like to consign your furniture, you are welcome to make an appointment to bring it by the Store. If it's in good shape we will take it and have you fill out a Contract at that time. So I will not be coming by to look at the furniture. I'm so sorry but these divorce situations can be tricky when it comes to personal property. We have experienced this situation before and it hasn't ended well. I hope you understand. ————————————————————- I do take this personally. Jennifer could have actually picked up the phone and called me and would have understood the situation. Hard to believe - but an actual voice and talking to the customer - and not relying on email — may actually help your customer relations. You would have then understood that this was an easy transaction.

I love their entire staff. The furniture is priced reasonably and you will find all the furniture to decorate your entire home. I have bought and also sold there too. Their furniture, lamps, light fixtures, rugs and art are first class! I can't stay away from the place!
