This is my fortress. Rocky Mountain XC's fortress. Bob Firman? Yes. Districts? Yes. NXR? Yes. The course is amazing. The hill is great for workouts, the river is great for recovering for the best, and there's plenty of variety that allows for great training. Not to mention the amazing winter tubing and summer swimming opportunities

Great spot for the Bib Firman Invitational. The shade was great this year and the course is challenging!

Beautiful place for our Cross Country race. Plenty of parking, green grass, pavilions, and plenty of open space.

Went to watch my son and his teammates run in the Bob Firman cross country invitational

Charcoal and lighter fluid are allowed
YES. Dogs are allowed IF they are leashed at all times. Dogs are NOT allowed in the water though. Hope this helps... Ill copy and paste the pet rules below this...... ____________________ •Keep pets on a leash when in the park •Always pick up pet waste •No pets allowed on beach or in lake
No, it is about 11 feet deep.
Yes from 7to 8pm every day! And in the winter they do tubing.
There are tables and bbqs in the park for cooking. There is a pavillion you can rent for events. The park is a pack in pack out,and plastic trash bags are provided. This park is very clean that is why open pits would be a detriment to keeping it clean. It's not a campground. Very fun for swimming and a sandy beach. Many people bring their own shade and chairs. Also bring your water toys and floating rafts etc.
I don't know it's not summer time and it's really cold still. I know there fishing it right now
There are no specific places that say off leash but our dog ran where there's a frisbee area that no one uses
They say they are going to start enforcing the leash law but I don't know exactly when.
Yes, You can easily get the shade area to sit there. Better to go early there so that you can occupy the favorite place.
Absolutely! Bring it if it is something you enjoy. There are Lost and Found dispensary locations in the park. It is very humbling to see how consideration and honesty still exist!
I saw an area and people were riding over to the stables after riding trails in the park. They have ziplines but they didn't seem open, they charge to enter the park, but I didn't talk to attendant. You need to run them on interent.
I don't believe they're going on but don't know if it's Covid-19 related or due to it being October
Its mossy in the non designated swimming areas but al in all. It's not nasty, especially compared to Lake lowell this time of year.they now have ziplining there that goes over the river. Unsure of prices though.
We were able to pay $15 for a 1 hour paddle board rental 3 weeks ago, as well as purchase tickets to ride down the water slide. Eagle Island did not disappoint!
Not aware of such a thing.
Here is a link to the Eagle-island website. Below that is a link to the water slide schedule. https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/eagle-island https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/sites/default/files/uploads/Copy%20of%202019%20Waterslide%20calendar.xlsx
5 dollars for each vehicle, free if you have a park pass (which is $10 at the DMV-well worth it😊)
It does cost money. There are different prices depending on how many zip lines you go on and the time of day. $39 - $79 dollars per person.
No, access from Linder road has been closed. You have to enter from the state highway.
More like walking trails. No hiking involved.
Must be in a can.
It is open on the weekends. Saturday & Sunday. Not sure of the times.
The 10pm news last night said Eagle Island was now open for swimming!
It's allowed at designated smoking areas in the park only. There are lots of families with small children and it follows standard state park rules.
They have pavilions that can be reserved, but as for a spot on the beachfront no.
I have seen people using them. Especially if you are looking for lost items
