Good service. This is my second time coming to this business with two different jobs and I like the job this shop performs.

I was very impressed by the service I received at the glass doctor. I have a new car with high level technology package that required the dealership to do the calibration, The shop is capable of doing such calibration however, the vehicle brand created a lockout system. They completed the glass install at their shop, and went the extra mile to take the vehicle to the dealership to complete the calibration. They kept great communication and were very professional. Highly recommended

One of the few if any actual places within Turlock, nay Stanislaus County, that provided such care, help, enthusiasm, professionalism, etc. as I first arrived and throughout the experience there. Im deeply grateful for the 12 month warranty that actually goes above and beyond, rather than most warranties that do bare minimum. This is the place to be, best bang for your buck, and best place to feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of. Thank you!

Questions & Answers

Are windshield replacements free in some states?

Yes. In some states, called Zero-Deductible states, if you have full (comprehensive) coverage, your deductible is waived, and the windshield chip repair or full windshield replacement will be free to the policyholder. Our expert customer service team will help you determine your coverage level and work with your insurance company to verify your coverage level. We can handle the claims process for you, saving you time.

Can you buff scratches out of auto glass?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 30, 2022
Glass Doctor - Owner | May 30, 2022

Scratch removal in auto glass is not a commercially viable solution to the retail market. Basically, it is labor-intensive and not always successful. If the customer is not satisfied with the result, they are understandably not willing to pay for the time and materials invested by the glass company. Scratch removal and scratch buffing systems exist; however, they are typically only practical in warehouses, industrial, and larger commercial glass projects. Please call our Glass Doctor office if you would like a more detailed explanation.

How long after my windshield gets replaced can I drive away?

Currently, most Glass Doctor locations use urethane with a one-hour safe drive-away time from when the new windshield gets set. No need for blue tape or any holds on washing your car. You are fully protected at the 60-minute mark. Please be sure to check with your local Glass Doctor to ensure the type of urethane being used.

What is your Windshield Protection Plan?

For auto glass, we have the best guarantee in the nation upon installing a new windshield. If you choose our Windshield Protection Plan, you’ll have coverage for a full 12 months. Should you get a rock chip in your new windshield, Glass Doctor will repair it at no cost to you. Our Windshield Protection Plan covers all rock chips received in the first 12 months — no limit. Should you receive damage that is not repairable such as a long crack or significant damage in the driver’s view area, we will replace the windshield at no cost to you for the glass material. Depending upon the type of coverage you purchase at the time of original install, you may be responsible for the cost of labor, adhesive, and moldings.
