Sarah is amazing at her job and I wish she could deliver all my babies in the future. My actual birth was amazing and I’m very satisfied with how my birth and labor went. However not a lot of post partum care. I had a uterus infection after birth and ended up in the ER. Also for my second pregnancy I was experiencing pain, cramping and bleeding early on and I expressed this because I was worried about an ectopic pregnancy. The ultrasound tech refused to do an ultrasound because she said it was “too early” and to wait a couple weeks and sent me home. I went to the emergency room a couple days later and they immediately did an ultra sound on me and my worst fears were true. I had an ectopic pregnancy and my left Fallopian tube had ruptured. Maybe it wouldn’t have if the tech had just examined me initially and took my concerns seriously. I ended up needing emergency surgery to remove my Fallopian tube. Probably won’t be ever coming back here. During my most vulnerable time the front desk staff and the ultrasound tech were extremely rude and my concerns about my health were not taken seriously. I needed to go to another hospital twice to receive the care I really needed so why bother staying a patient here.

I gave birth to my third child 1 week ago at The Birth Center of New Jersey. My husband and I were very pleased with the whole experience. I wanted a completely natural birth, where I could labor how I wanted and and not be strapped to a bed and hooked up to machines. I wanted to be able to move around freely and be a in calm environment without commotion and people coming in and out. I got exactly that, and thank G-d everything worked out very smoothly and safely. The care at the birth center could not have been better. I had midwife Sarah and nurse Jessica. They were simply fantastic. So sweet, upbeat, positive and very gentle. You can tell they love their job. I felt very well taken care of. We had the whole place to ourselves, it was just us and the midwife and nurse. It was nice that there was no one else there. The facility is super clean. Has the feel of a boutique hotel, the bathrooms are so nice. I'm so grateful to have had such a positive experience.

I delivered here in August 2021. The facility is so beautiful, private and new. I delivered over a weekend, and we were the only people in the building at the time. The doctor, midwives, and all staff are excellent people. I had a tough labor, but they were so encouraging and great. If you're looking for a birth center experience, this facility and staff cannot be beat.

Where do I start with the Birth Center, OMG! I wanted a ‘natural’ birth experience and I had been to many medical doctors, none of which supported what I wanted for myself. I thought because I was an older mom and high risk that the birth center would not be able to treat me but I was wrong. They welcomed me with open arms. The staff was professional and paid attention to detail and knew me by my first name. I even was fortunate enough to have an on-site Doula! Which was so convenient because I could see her when I had appointments. The staff was attentive and helpful. I was able to have the natural birth that I wanted and I felt safe and cared for. I could name the names of the staff but literally everyone was wonderful! And the owners😃 are completely amazing! I wound up having an issue with my insurance and they literally helped me with every tedious step to resolve it! I can’t say enough good about the professional manor of the birth center. If you don’t want a medicalized hospital birth hooked up to wires and machines with a dozen people in the room yelling push and reminding you every hour that you may need an emergency c-secition BUT INSTEAD want a natural gentle kind supportive environment then looks no further💛
