I received a letter today announcing the closing from Sam's Club.i don't believe there was a date specific on the letter but it listed the three closest stores.i believe it was elgin, des plaines and one other one. Addison was not listed, so i called them and they are not closing Addison. I switched to that store after the cook county soda tax experiment and found that the prices there are lower, especially gas.

I have found that not to be the case. Last month, I filled up at Addison (dupage) then 1/2 hour later passed the Streamwood club (cook). Addison was 10 cents cheaper, across the board, at virtually the same time.
