Hi Sharon. Bless you and your son. Only the legal guardian can apply. Ii the child is in K or 16 they must get a letter from school confirming attendance. You need birth cert. For the children. The adult driver's license. They wlll ask about your Income n if u own a vehicle. Anyone can pick up the items with the children. Hurry. It's over soon.

Applications may be completed in person at the Charity Newsies Headquarters at 4300 Indianola Ave., Columbus, OH 43214  Click Here for Directions to Headquarters The following documents are requiredwhen applying: Social Security card, or Taxpayer ID number, and photo identification for yourself (driver’s license, state ID, Resident Alien Card, etc.) Proof of household income (benefits letter, recent pay stub, etc.) Social Security card for each child to be clothed.

You could ask if their are any alternatives besides the cards themselves. Call the office on Indianola before noon m-f. I know they will want something and they want your id and ss card and enrollment letters for Kindergarten and 16 years and older.

Actually our drive day was Dec 9th this year. Aleays the 2cd Saturday in December. If still interested in donating you could send a check to Charity Newsies at 4300 Indianola Ave, Columbus OH 43214. Click on documents. But for kids under 16 u just need SS cards for them and urself . Also if and benefits letter or proof of income. It's very easy. U go. They give u an appointment and u come back with ur kids and load up!
