Arguably one of the best record stores in Columbus. “Huge” is an understatement for the selection of records/cassettes etc offered— you could literally spend hours digging through the crates that are lined up practically floor to mid-wall, with a substantial selection offered for every genre/style, even ones you may have not familiarized yourself with. Staff are also friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They also buy and resell, so if you’re looking to do that, that’s a bonus.

Best spot in the city for good conditioned vinyl and CDs. Good deals and great staff.

Fantastic vinyl selection. I have a feeling I'll be stopping here again many, many times.

Yes they sell movies, just not large quantities. It's more of a selective selection.
I would say take a look they have just about everything just depends on when they get jt
Yes, we buy CDs. Please note, we don't pay very much for them.
I think they give reasonable offers, but I still recommend to haggle
Most likely, yes. They have almost anything you could search for.
Go in and ask. They have a pretty epic collection of music and will likely order anything they don't havr.
always buying every genre of vinyl, 33 and 45, anytime we are open. we are also always buying CD, cassette, reel, 8-track, vintage rock t-shirts, posters, etc. if it has to do with music, we have a vested interest to buy!! no need to schedule an appointment, we are buying anytime we are open. thank you!!
Yes there are usually some reels for one dollar each, in a crate near the back of the store.
Depends what you're looking for. Anywhere from a dollar up. There is some good stuff in the bargin bins if you're willing to hunt for it and the selection is awesome. New stuff is priced very reasonably.
Masks are required (with free masks and gloves at the front for those in need, as well as a sanitization station), social distancing is in strict practice, continual sanitization of front counter, door handles, and other common areas, there is also a strict limit to 40 patrons in the business at any given time so as to keep safely distanced throughout. Customers are encouraged to use tap to pay, and are not expected to sign a receipt. Just a few of the safety practices in place at Used Kids Records.
Used Kids Records has the very best selection of new and used LPs and 7"/45s, some 78s, CDs, 8-tracks, and cassette tapes. There are even some reel-to-reel tapes, laser discs, and VHS tapes about the store. They also specialize in vintage Hi-Fi, featuring many Marantz, Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sansui pieces among others. It's a very mixed bag, they will most likely deal in music merch if it is vintage, but due to it's popularity, never stays in the store very long. Hope that helps!
