If you want to pay nearly $100 a month for 1990's speed internet then I highly recommend this service. We pay for an advertised "high speed" 6Mbps. We rarely see those speeds, usually it is less than 2Mbps. I even wrote an email and contacted support to try to get our rates reduced as we are not receiving the advertised service that we pay for, however, I was completely ghosted and received no reply. I wish 0 stars was an option. The only positive thing is that many 5G providers are coming to the area so once they activate their service, I guarantee these fools will go out of business. Serves them right!

It is crazy reading these reviews because we have had these guys in two different but similar locations and have had incredible service/internet for almost a year now. Im interested in where these people live who have written these reviews but we have used them in the lower Auburn & Newcastle area. We only stream TV, laptop, and phones (we are not gamers) but our internet NEVER buffers and has never let us down! You do have to purchase your own router (or I believe you can rent one from them) but maybe these people have poor quality routers? I would recommend buying a GOOD router to have GOOD quality internet.

I post a negative review for Calnet a few years ago. They actually contacted me and was concerned with my issue. The issue was resolved but then came back a few months later. I have noticed they have got much faster at getting to outage issues. They have been easy to contact. Service has been much better.

This internet service is absolutely terrible. I fully believe the only reason they are still in business is because people like me have no other option. The speed advertised is constantly lower then what I pay for, constant connectivity issues and the same run around answer is given any time you call for help. Im always told to power cycle the router and the Poe device and it never fixes the problem. The service is very expensive and is very unreliable. Constant connectivity issues, sometimes it will go out for hours at a time. I am trying to stream from 1 device and the quality of picture/ amount of buffering time makes it nearly unbearable to watch. They never offer any sort of credit for the amount of time your service is out and appears as though the service never gets any better. You’d think that operating this company for the amount of time they have they would at least be able to give you a slow but stable connection but that is far from reality. If you have any other option I would exhaust those options first before purchasing service from this company. My parents have this very same service and live 100 feet away from me. Their service is far more reliable. Often times I have to connect to there’s so I have connectivity while mine goesI have to reset my Poe device and router routinely multiple times a week just get it to finally start to work. Complete junk service. Cannot wait for starlink to deploy in my area.

"Middle of Nowhere Internet" I've been using them in a very rural foothills location for 3yrs.
Try this.. unplug your Wi-Fi router's power. Then unplug the calnet antenna power. Wait 2 minutes. Plug in the antenna. Wait 3 minutes and plug in your router. If that does not work, you may have an old antenna and Cal.net recently upgraded their equipment which requires an upgraded receiver. (I'm a customer also).
This internet service is very spotty and unreliable. Don't use calnet unless it's your only option
