This is an okay little area if you don't mind the mud or unkempt trails. The walking path is very overgrown and muddy. Lots of thorns and poison ivy too. The pond is more like a swamp and there are lots of mosquitoes. I never mean to leave a bad review, just the facts of a place or area. On the flipside, there were many visitors to this area while we were there, meaning locals love it.

Enjoying a quiet lunch with nature.

It was a nice walk, threw the woods, we saw 2 female deer, and 1 fawn. Also lots of jelly and tree ear mushrooms, growing on, the dead wood, laying right, beside the trail.

No, they are not permitted unless a service animal. Pets in state nature preserves can introduce disease; spread invasive species; distract and disturb wildlife; and interfere with scientific research conducted in the preserves. Leaving pets at home when visiting state nature preserves helps protect these delicate ecosystems.
No fishing at Gahanna woods. You can fish at Sharon Woods and Hoover
Not marked as such. But is not an enclosed area. Close to road and parking areas so dangerous for them. Plus not sure the ducks would like 😁
