Phenomenal authentic Chinese food! We went in for dinner and ordered Hunan beef, chow fun, sizzling rice soup, and egg rolls. Everything was delicious and the service was great. If you are looking for an outstanding, local, family owned restaurant make sure to go to China Delight. Phenomenal food, great service, fair prices.

Staff needs customer service training but so-so. Food wasn't our problem. A dangerous piece of wire in my food from their cleaning tool, was the problem. I discovered it just in time to not swallow it. The server wasn't over the top concerned as she should have been...and wait for it...offered to replace my dish with another just like it...and no apology, just a lame excuse...btw...I'm not a racist and I am not an amateur food critique...I have critiqued food and wine for years. And, I have, sorry, we have eaten in this restaurant several times when in the Carmel area...The last time after the "wire" incident was the last time...we will never go back and I can see by the Owners reaction to negative reviews, the they don't care... So...be careful to inspect your dishes for 1" pieces of brass wire...

Wonderfully sweet workers and great food. Everything is very fresh & flavorful. It's so nice to see them every time we visit Carmel. They're always so attentive and eager to give you a great dining experience. Its become a must place to eat when in town.

The Denny’s of Chinese food, except too expensive for the quality offered. The upside is that the portions are large (takeout containers filled to the brim), except for the walnut shrimp, which was half full, while also being the most expensive dish. Flavors were boring and watered down. Curry chicken was incredibly mild in flavor and spice despite being described as the opposite. Chicken was dry. Egg fried rice was literally just that…. rice that is fried with bits of egg. No veggies. Potstickers were doughy and thick with dry meat mixture inside. Definitely a first. I didn’t think you could make dry dumplings. Everything tastes like it was prepared days ago and slapped together then popped in the microwave. I avoid Panda Express at all times, but would have gladly taken it as an alternative. Quality is about the same, but more flavor and a fraction of the cost. If I’d paid half what I did, I’d say “Yeah, that’s about right” and been fine with it I guess. If I’m spending $116, I expect more than cheap buffet quality. Chefs were definitely asleep on this one.
