-5 stars - do not ever go to this office unless you want to be ridiculed and talked down to. The lady who works in this "one man office", as she puts it, is the rudest person I have ever met in my life! She must really hate her job and have a miserable life. I thought state employees were meant to help people out, not try to control them and then kick them out on the curb! I will never go back here!!!

Horrible service, I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Absolutely do not recommend, do not go here. Needs to be closed down.

I have problem with Hahnville OMV. My adult child has been trying to get ahold of this OMV for several months - their answering machine is always FULL so no one could leave message! Today, of all days, we decided to give it an attempt. Showed up at OMV at 1:17 pm. They said they’re on lunch break from 11 to 1 pm. Door was locked REALLY?!?!? Then we returned at 1:40 - the door is STILL locked!!! Not Deaf friendly place! So we gave up and headed to OMV in Laplace - wish us good luck!!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄

The lady who works there looks like she doesn’t want to work. I had all my documentation good but because she doesn’t know about work permits and legalized and translated birth certificates I could get my tips.. she even called someone by phone and I heard when they said all my documents were good. When she hung up the call she told me she can’t help me because my work permit expires in 5 months, I told her that you renew work permits every 6 months and she only said. “ come when your status changes “ … thank you lady!

No Hahnville are appointment only
Just make a visit to the office because you didn't have to make an appointment.
If you are going to the DMV to get a temp permit, you may as well register the vehicle and get your permanent plate.
No. And they will not answer. Try on a rainy day.
No, you have to be there to pick your license plate because you are the driver of the car, unless he has your permission then you can
yes it is
Yesterday that place was ridiculous!!! They had 1 lady working... That's It!!! Everyone had to wait outside... It was very hot!!! They were only letting in like 2 people at a time... I was there for about an hour before I got frustrated and left... Not 1 person was seen the entire hour I stood in line... If they only had 1 worker they should have just stayed closed!!! And I saw her outside the back door smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone while we were all sweating miserable waiting patiently
