Beautiful. We saw many seals not far from the shore - at least two dozen or more.

Nice walk to and from the lighthouse. If you walk to the tip of the island, you can see where the ocean waves come from two directions

Orb hunting. We did not find any orbs but had a great time walking the beach down to the lighthouse.

It has a boy scout camp but not sure if public. Minimal facilities.
