The positive is that it is near the ferry but the staff that I encountered was a bit rude and unhelpful. My questions (like directions and things to do) were met with short non-answers so I just walked out with a few pamphlets and enjoyed the rest of my day. She must have had a bad day because in my experience, most people at these places are warm , welcoming and helpful.

Columbus Day is the last hurrah for the season. North Light will be open. Historical Society and the Chamber of Commerce. If you call the Chamber or go on their website they should have info on hotels restaurants and events . Hope this helps.
