I have not heard of any paid training but like the previous person said they have grants to cover the costs of training
What Craig Cuthbert said make sure you're there early because the wait to use the phone is usually long.
I know this is an old question but I will answer it now in the hopes of helping someone else. That hotline number that they give out doesn’t work. They stopped using it years ago. I don’t know why they don’t update their website and the letters they send out. Don’t waste your time. If you need to use the hotline you have to go to the office and sit and wait for hours.
Hi there! The PA CareerLink is not the office of Unemployment Compensation, however you can come into our PA CareerLink in Norristown or call us at 610-270-3429 and we may be able to assist with very basic UC inquiries or try to point you in the right direction.
Hi Herb, you can visit the PA CareerLink, 1430 DeKalb st. Norristown, PA 19401 and although we are not unemployment, we should have a staff member that can guide you into reporting claimant fraud. You can also find detailed information on how to report claimant fraud at www.uc.pa.gov
Go 2 the career link and sign up
